I had always thought making ice-cream meant you needed to have an ice-cream maker, until I made this delicious no churn chocolate ice-cream.
395g tin of sweetened condensed milk
1tsp natural vanilla flavouring
1/2 cup finely ground cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
500ml of cream.
Whisk together condensed milk, vanilla, salt and cocoa and set aside.
Whip your cream until firm peaks are formed (I used my stand mixer and had it going while I whisked the other ingredients together)
Fold your cocoa and condensed milk mix into your cream. There is no need to mix it too much, it looks quite nice with a little separation.
I also added some Devonport Chocolates milk chocolate cooking drops, because I had them in the pantry. You could add all sorts of things if you chose to.
Pour into a container (as you can see from the photo I used a loaf tin).
